Though well-known to those who frequent the island, the Central Electric Storage Plant is not part of the regual tour itinerary, and is therefore rarely visited. Still very much intact, the structure continues to be useful. It is only a stone's throw away from the Engineering Dock.
Using this old barrel (as seen in the previous photo) as a reference point, we look the other way, and realize how close this facility is to the sea shore.
