he best way to reach Corregidor's tail by land is to go to the eastern end of Kindley Field. You can expect lots of tall grass with burrs, so make sure you wear long pants. From there, you continue heading east until you are out of the tall grass. Eventually, you will notice the width of the island gradually narrowing down
One-third of the way towards Corregidor's tail, you'll pass through an area that used to be the old civilian cemetery. This cross lies just next to the trail. There are also other interesting "artifacts" from the pre-World War II era that a sharp-eyed visitor could easily spot.
